LIMBRICK
Kim has been a partner with Crosswhite, Limbrick & Sinclair, LLP since 1998. Her practice areas include insurance defense and coverage litigation, commercial and business litigation, and the representation of local governments in civil litigation matters. She has a particular expertise in defending large banking institutions, residential facilities, management companies, universities and retail businesses in lawsuits arising out of criminal acts on their premises. She enjoys long-standing relationships with her clients, and has been primary Maryland and District of Columbia counsel to some for nearly fifteen years. Kim is proud to have consistently held an "AV" rating in the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory.
Kim grew up in Richmond, Virginia, and is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She received her law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she graduated Order of the Coif and served on the Executive Editorial Board of the University of Maryland Law Review. After law school, she was Law Clerk to the Honorable Catherine C. Blake of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Following her clerkship, she began her career in private practice at Miles & Stockbridge, where she met her future partners at Crosswhite, Limbrick & Sinclair.
In joining Crosswhite, Limbrick & Sinclair, Kim sought to carve out a practice in which she could provide high quality legal services in a collegial atmosphere that would encourage an ease of communication with her clients. She is proud to have established a practice in which most of her clients know her long-time assistant, Darlene, as well as her partners and coworkers. Each member of the firm team is available to assist its clients, ensuring the flexibility and responsiveness that is so important in today's legal environment.
Kim is admitted to the bars of the State of Maryland, the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She is a Partners Club Member of the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service, a former Executive Committee Member of Lawyers Against Hunger, and has volunteered for Hands on Baltimore and the Public Justice Center. She is a member of Maryland Defense Counsel, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, Litigation Section. She is also a member of the Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Prince George's County Bar Associations.
In her free time, Kim enjoys traveling, hiking and boating with her two children and husband, Tom. She spends most of her weekends on lacrosse, soccer and football fields cheering for her two children, but she is also an avid baseball fan, devoted to both her home team Orioles and the New York Yankees.
