HEATHER BEYGO
Heather joined Crosswhite, Limbrick & Sinclair in 2003 and practices primarily in the areas of insurance defense, personal injury, automobile torts, premises liability, product liability and governmental liability. She defends owners and operators of personal and commercial vehicles, represents property owners and managers in cases involving contractual disputes and premises liability, and handles product liability matters involving industrial and residential products. She also counsels governmental entities in defense and subrogation matters involving emergency and governmental vehicles, public utilities, premises liability and property damages.
Prior to joining the firm, Heather practiced in St. Louis, first with a large firm defending various insurance carriers and self-insureds in actions for personal injury, premises liability and employment discrimination. Upon joining the firm of Sandberg, Phoenix and von Gontard, Heather expanded her practice into the areas of health law and product liability. She represented physicians, medical institutions and nursing homes in professional malpractice claims and defended the manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automobiles and asbestos materials. In her five years of practice in St. Louis, Heather gained extensive exposure to complex litigation in the state and federal courts of Missouri and Illinois.
Heather was born in Glendale, California. She graduated with honors from the University of California at Davis in 1993 and received her law degree from Houston Law Center in 1996. She is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of California, Missouri, Illinois, Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, Commercial Real Estate Women, Defense Research Institute and Maryland Defense Counsel.
When not practicing law, Heather enjoys attending sports activities with her boys and horseback riding, snow skiing and scuba diving. She also volunteers for various organizations, including Catholic Charities and Days End Farm Horse Rescue.
